Okay so again it has been awhile but I have been so busy. The kids are enjoying their summer and playing outside a lot. Work has been crazy and so has helping Shane with his work. So I will just start with the youngest one, Jaden. Jaden has been learning how to swim this summer and he is getting very good at it. He has been out shooting his BB gun and playing with the boys next door. Jaden has been a trooper to he has gone on a lot of road trips with Shane and been a big help to him. Jaden is going to be doing the pig scramble at the fair so if he catches one grandma and grandpa might be getting a pig, he is way excited. I can't believe how big he is getting and how much of little by he is becoming. One thing is for sure he loves his grandma. The last time we visited she really got him to open up and for those of you that know him that is a big thing. Now to Kylee she has been a busy girl this summer already. She rode a horse in the 4th of July parade and boy was that a treat for her. She has been helping me around the house and playing with her friends a lot. She is such a cutie. She isn't afraid to try anything and will always help anyone. She is getting way to big and I am having a hard time dealing with that. The kids have also been going to the boys and girls club this summer. They get to go swimming, do arts and crafts and play games it is so much fun for them. I have been working like crazy as usual. I work my job and then come home and help Shane with his business. We get tired but that's life. I also had the excitement of having my 9 month old nephew with me for a little over a week. It was so much fun I must say I am so lucky to have 2 wonderful children and the cutest nephew and niece ever!!

Just Another day

So I said that I would get better at keeping this updated so here I am. This weekend went by so fast and Monday came way to early. On friday last week I had the oppurtunity to take some of my gentlemen residents fishing. Can I tell you that there are so many reasons to love my job. I got paid to be on a boat on a lake all day with some of the best people in the world. There was me, three residents, Shane and his dad and my boss Mark and his friend Gary. We had so much fun. Amazing to hear the different stories that were told from memories that these residents had. Then Saturday I went to participate ina yard sale for my Relay For Life team. It was so hot but the money we raised will go to a good cause. Then I worked all day Sunday. Today I worked and Kylee went with Shane to Bend, OR to pick up some cars and Jaden went to daycare. When I picked Jaden up we came home and started cleaning up the house and then took on the adventure of cleaning his room. I know Brittnee knows exactly how I felt because she has to helped him. It took me 2 1/2 hours and 4 garbage bags later it was done. We also took the time to hang some shelves and pictures in his room. then we went out and watered flowers and tossed the football around and now he is crashed in my bed. It's hard work being a little boy. While we were at my mom and dads over the weekend my mom made Jaden a calendar that counts down the days until Uncle Jared comes home. Each day he scratches off a day and it is so cute to hear him talk about it. I must say I have the best family ever!!

Last Day of School!

So today was Kylee and Jadens last day of school. Wow this year went by fast. After I dropped them off I started to think about all of the stuff that happened in school this year and how much they have grown. Kylee studied harder and brought her math grade way up and Jaden out of nowhere is reading and doing math and spelling and writing letters. It amazes me how they go from crawling to walking to correcting my spelling. I felt a little upset that they are growing up so fast. Kylee will be in 4th grade next year and Jaden in 2nd. Time is going by so fast and some days I feel like I have missed out on so many things with them.
Also with summer they have both started baseball and softball. That is keeping us so busy. They have a practice or a game every night during the week and sometimes one of each depending on the day. Kylee is doing better she still needs some practice at batting but for her I think the girl talk is funner than the game. Jaden is doing great. He played catcher at his last game and he looked so cute in all of that gear. I went to go give him a hug and a kiss after and he said not right now mom and I thought wait a minute he isn't that big yet but I guess he is. I never knew how much 2 children could change a person for the better and make me as happy as they do. They are my angels and sometimes their halos tip to the side a bit but all in all they are great kids and I love them very much!

The best things in life is your family!
Wow what a weekend. It was a fast one but a much needed one. My sister Steppi had her baby girl on Friday so I packed the kids in the car and left with my other sister Brittnee and off we went to Salt Lake to see our new little arrival. We had a great visit. I got to see my younger sister turn into a beautiful mother and spend some much needed time with my other younger sister. It was 2 days of bonding that helped me so much. I was able to spend some talking time with my Dad which was also much needed. then my Mom what can I say she is my rock, she is the glue that holds all of us together and I can never find the words to express my love and gratitude for her. It is amazing how just a short 2 days with your family and a little venting to your younger sister and her understanding and her just listening can make you breathe easy again and see things in a whole new light. I am blessed to have such a wonderful family. I am so excited for Jard to come home in just 5 short months so the 4 of us can begin a whole new chapter bonding and making memories.
